One advantage of my balcony area is that I can set up my tripod, point the camera at the stars, and use my computer to find out what the hell I’m looking at. So far I’ve found:
Orion, tilted towards the right, with the V of Taurus (Aldebaran’s the yellow one) on the right. (Clicking on each picture opens a bigger version).
Gemini: Castor and Pollux are at the very top (Pollux is the yellow one on the left).
Auriga: Capella is the bright one on the bottom right of the pentagon shape.
