Yesterday we went shopping, and acquired some new family members. Meet Miss Black:

Much the braver and more vocal of the two, she’s now moved on from hiding in crevices to occupying our shelves.
And another girl who was called Tom, presumably on the grounds that she wasn’t a tom. Provisionally now Tomato:

She’s still very much in the crevice stage, creeping between behind-the-door, to behind-the-sofa, to behind-the-bed and back again. She likes being combed though, so we’re making some progress.
They are both just lovely! Catty greetings from our two gingers.
